Hummus Dip


Three cups of cooked chick peas (garbanzo beans)

Half a cup of Greek yogurt

Six garlic cloves

Six large pitted green olives

Five fresh basil leaves

Two tablespoons of olive oil

One tablespoon of lemon juice

One teaspoon of salt

One teaspoon of black pepper

One teaspoon of mustard powder

Half a teaspoon of dried oregano


Food process all of the ingredients together until they turn into a thick pureed form.

Make sure all the ingredients have pureed.

Pour out the pureed mixture into a bowl and stir it well.

You can add a little more of the Greek yogurt if you want the dip to be more creamier.

Use an additional tablespoon of olive oil with some red chili powder and an olive to garnish the dip (optional).

You can serve the dip with pita bread, crackers or vegetables. Enjoy!
