One and a half cups of all purpose flour
One and a half cups of rolled oats
One and a half cups of chocolate chips
Two thirds of a cup of unsalted butter
Half a cup of brown sugar
Half a cup of white sugar
One table spoon of vanilla extract
One heaping teaspoon of baking powder
Half a teaspoon of salt (optional)
Preheat your oven to bake at 350 degrees F. Prepare a couple of cookie baking sheets.
Whisk the butter, eggs, vanilla extract, salt and sugar (brown and white) in a large mixing bowl together.
Gradually add the baking powder, flour, oats and chocolate chips to the mixture and mix everything together until it forms into cookie dough.
Use a tablespoon to scoop mixture onto the baking sheets into cookies (you may also use your hands if you prefer).
Put the cookies into the oven and let them bake for approximately 25 minutes or until they turn into a golden brown color.
