These tasty Cheesy Chicken Meatballs make a great side dish or main course. They are easy and quick to make and leave you feeling satisfied.
500 grams of ground chicken
Three table spoons of plain low fat cream cheese
Half an onion-minced or chopped finely
Four garlic gloves- minced or chopped finely
One cup of finely chopped spinach
Three table spoons of fresh thyme
Two table spoons of Italian seasoning
One teaspoon salt
Half a cup of bread crumbs
Two cups of tomato sauce
Once cup of grated parmesan cheese
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F. Mix the chicken, onions, garlic, spinach, eggs, bread crumbs and cream cheese together. Add two table spoons of fresh thyme, one table spoon of Italian seasoning, and salt to the mixture and mix every thing together properly. Start forming meatballs and place them into a non-stick deep baking dish or tray. Once you are done making all the meatballs, mix the remaining table spoon of Italian seasoning into the tomato sauce and spread the tomato sauce evenly over the meatballs. Garnish the meatballs with the remainder of fresh thyme and parmesan cheese by spreading them over evenly. Place the tray into the oven and let the meatballs cook for about 35 to 40 minutes. Once the meatballs are done, you can serve them or eat them right away. Enjoy!
